Director Supply Chain Program-Deliver Enterprise Process Lead-Network Strategy

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience in Network Design
  • BS/BA in Business, Finance, Engineering, or similar degree from accredited university/college with MBA preferred
  • Significant experience with Llamasoft or industry equivalent network modeling technology and solutions with expertise in connecting outputs to other supply chain systems and processes
  • Proven track record for developing and delivering network strategy solutions and processes yielding double digit annual inventory, distribution, and transportation savings.
  • Experience straitening and implementing Deliver – Network Strategy processes within a large, complex organization including integrating industry/market intelligence from different operating entities; distribution / transportation partners; functions; groups; regions; and customers to continuously improve competitive position.
  • Exceptional collaboration and team building skills across a global organization to develop long term strategic relationships and alliances with key internal and external stakeholder
  • Recognized supply chain / network strategy leadership capability with proven ability to drive accelerated results


    • Responsible for ongoing network strategy process leadership at the Enterprise / Global level in alignment with Enterprise Process Owners (EPO) leadership
    • Leads strategic initiatives and programs to oversee complex, comprehensive network strategy and design transformation including standardization of work activities, operating model to qualify and prioritize network projects, establish a cross-functional network strategy governance – change management review board, and integrate cross-functional, regional, and group decision making to optimize outcomes.
    • This executive will ensure industry leading network design to exceed quality, service, cost (inventory, distribution, and transportation holistically), and customer experience performance results with process controls.
    • Leads executive sessions with company leadership specific to network changes and manages executive level resources from external consulting firms to drive our network strategy transformation
    • Develops processes, tools – systems and technology, metrics, and documents and deploys processes, procedures, and associated training materials in alignment with common GSC standards
    • Establishes a Center of Excellence for global network design and associated infrastructure including make versus buy analysis, capacity and capabilities diagnosis, and project prioritization
    • Facilitates connection with Regional / Business Group Process Leads to maintain global alignment on complex supply chain network process improvements and understanding within Region, Function, and Group to achieve their business needs individually and holistically.
    • Evaluate, Develop, and Maintain KPIs for process area reflecting overall goals of the Deliver transformation program specific to the broader global network strategy
    • Lead proactive innovation across company global network strategy on an enterprise level resulting in best practice and knowledge sharing
    • Significantly improves, changes or adapts global network processes, systems, products, or services through effective business requirements understanding, process gap assessments, and creation of continuous improvement network modeling
    • Proactively delivers periodic executive updates on network enhancements based upon modeling what if scenarios and frames out associated business cases/impacts to quality, service, cost, cash flow, and patient experience of such scenarios.
